Privacy notice · Effective 19 September 2026
Privacy with a narrow purpose.
This notice explains the information collected through Vyloca’s public website, sandbox and demand study, and the choices available to you.
1. Who is responsible
Aurum Digital Consulting Limited, RC 9671246, Lagos, Nigeria, is the data controller for Vyloca’s public website and demand-study records. Privacy enquiries and rights requests may be sent to hello@aurumdigitalconsulting.com.
2. Information we collect
When you register interest, we may collect your email address, visitor or merchant role, country or Nigerian location, intended funding currency, expected frequency, typical payment range, business category and the payment problem you describe.
We may also process limited technical and security information such as request time, browser or device category, referrer, coarse location, consent record and service logs. Vyloca uses privacy-conscious website analytics to understand aggregate use and improve the experience.
3. Information the public sandbox does not need
Do not provide card numbers, bank credentials, passwords, one-time codes, API secrets, passport scans, national identity numbers or biometric information. Vyloca’s public sandbox is designed to use simulated payment data and does not require this information.
4. Why we use information
We use information to respond to requests, measure genuine visitor and merchant demand, identify relevant payment corridors and use cases, improve product design, evaluate licensed-partner fit, protect the service and meet legal obligations.
Depending on the interaction and applicable law, processing is based on your consent, steps you request before a possible business relationship, our legitimate interests in product validation and service security, or a legal obligation. You may withdraw consent to future optional contact at any time.
5. Sharing and service providers
We disclose only what is reasonably necessary to vetted providers that support hosting, database storage, email notification, analytics, security and professional advice. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect users and the service.
We do not sell personal information. Registering interest does not send payment data to a fintech partner or create a financial account.
6. International processing and retention
Some infrastructure providers may process information outside Nigeria. Where this occurs, we use contractual and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information and applicable law.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, legal compliance, security and dispute resolution. When it is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.
7. Security
We apply access controls, secure transport, data minimisation, logging and separation between the public experience and regulated payment systems. No internet service can promise absolute security. Please report a suspected vulnerability without including customer or payment data.
8. Your rights
Subject to the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and other applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. We may need to verify the request before acting.
9. Children and changes
Vyloca is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We may update this notice as the product or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
